A special substance that is intended especially for modeling sugar flowers and making complex ornaments. It is white and very flexible. We can shape flowers from this material either directly using cutters and silicone veiners, or choose more demanding shaping using floristic wires, tapes, thinning mats and cutters. It is good to have starch on hand so that the material does not stick prematurely, for example when cutting out and veining. We leave the finished parts of the flowers stuck in the polystyrene to harden, and then we tie them into the necessary shapes using florist's tape. The material can be colored with ordinary gel colors.
