Sliced gelatin is a versatile helper in the kitchen. It is suitable for sweet and salty variations of dishes - whether you like fruit, yogurt, cream or cottage cheese jelly, solid cake creams or prefer aspic. The package contains 6 slices (10 g in total), which are enough to gel 0.5 l of liquid.
Preparation of creams, fillings and scrambled eggs: Put 4-5 tablespoons of water in a small pot, add gelatin slices and let it swell for about 10 minutes. Stirring constantly, heat ( do not boil ) until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Immediately add 2 spoons of cream/fruit juice/compression mixture and mix with a whisk or wooden spoon. Mix back into the cream/fruit juice/compression mixture. Next, we process according to a specific recipe.
Preparation of jellies and aspic: Cover the gelatin slices with 0.5 l of cold water or brine and let them swell for about 10 minutes. Stirring constantly, heat ( do not boil ) until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Allow the gelatin to cool slightly and use it while it is still lukewarm according to a specific recipe.
