Confectionery coating and modeling materials are the crowning glory of decorating cakes and desserts. They are divided according to the purpose of use, but also according to the composition.

If you want to coat the surface of the cakes with them, choose coating materials such as Smartflex Velvet or Formix. They stand out for their flexibility and easy workability. We also offer materials labeled Velvet already dyed in a wide range of shades.

If you want to model different figures, we recommend e.g. Smartflex Model or Saracino. Materials containing cocoa butter are ideal for all kinds of decorations, especially the more complex ones. They are malleable and will hold the weight of the product. They stay soft but firm for a long time. Joints can be smoothed to perfection.

A substance marked as Flower or gumpaste is suitable for creating flowers. This can be rolled out into a very thin to slightly transparent sheet. This will give your flower ties a sense of credibility and the recipient will hardly be able to distinguish them from real flowers.

The menu also includes real marzipan, a substance made from ground almonds with a really delicious taste. It is suitable for coating and modeling. You can find it here in several colors, but of course also natural in a soft champagne shade.

The materials must be kept in plastic bags and closed containers so that they do not dry out and therefore do not harden.
