Efficient and quick to use
Using Formix coating material is quick and effective. The white color of the Formix coating allows you to mix a wide range of color shades. Its almond flavor will satisfy lovers of real marzipan.
Recommended use of confectionery coating Formix
The optimum temperature for working with this coating material is 22 °C. Process the material for at least 10 minutes before coloring (temperature and really thorough processing of Formix is the basis of success) until the material is pliable and elastic.
If the mass is still very stiff, you can put it in the microwave for a short time (approx. 5 - 10 seconds - depending on the size of the heated mass). After dyeing to the desired shade, let it rest for at least 1 hour.
Before coating the cake, work the mixture thoroughly again and roll it out into a 2 - 4 mm thick sheet. You can roll out the mass on food foil or sprinkle it with sugar so that it does not stick to the mat.
What is the Formix coating intended for?
You can coat cakes with Formix coating material. It is also ideal for making various figurines, flowers and cake decorations. Mass can be added to the filling between the individual layers of the corpus.
